Butterflies fly free in this week’s window… only these butterflies are made of soft pink Cymbidium orchids with wings of hot pink plexi and curled wire. Modern design is paired with the natural beauty and delicacy of one of our favorite orchids. Flying at varying heights, and above a reflective pool – we are whisked away on these butterflies’ wings.
If you’ve recently seen Coldplay’s video, “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall,” then you are familiar with the mood of this week’s windows in our design studios. Vivid shapes in eye-popping shades dance among music notes and records in the video and we have created that look with hot pink, tangerine and lime shapes hanging in a bright orange light. Deep red Dahlias perfectly balance the floating whimsy and sit in a bed of candy-colored mosaic pieces.
As a much needed summer rainstorm rolled into New York City today, our windows still manage to bring us a bit of sunshine. This window’s design, “Sunshine in a Box,” features eye-catching and poppy Protea pincushion bouquets in clear lucite boxes. The open and architectural boxes are the perfect containers to capture all the sun’s glorious rays. Shine on! 
As the temperature soars into the mid-90s this week in New York City, our window design is inspired by a lush cool green garden and simply “cools us off!” Birch poles with fresh bright green Cymbidium Orchids line the window-scape and stand in a bed of dewy grass. Lime green stones create a clean border around the scene as late summer breezes dance among the trees.
Our latest window is an abstract and futuristic design featuring spherical shapes made of red wire accented by hanging red and yellow Gloriosas. Represnting the electricty of summer, the spheres dance in the light while the Gloriosas are a feminine and vibrant touch.
