Last week Flowers of the World was proud to join forces for a great cause, with the Children’s Cancer Blood Foundation, for their annual “Breakthrough Ball” benefit gala. For the event, which took place at The Plaza, FOTW created a gorgeous seasonal setup of antique hydrangea, bright Protea, burnt orange Roses and Orchids, and mango Calla Lilies, mixed with swirling Lily grass and glowing raspberry votive candles. The display lit up the room for an unforgettable evening!

This week Flowers of the World was happy to team up again with Briggs, Inc., for a corporate dinner in the chic space that is Tribeca Rooftop. We created a setting that combined an elegant design of Black Magic Roses, black Calla Lilies, and burgundy Cymbidium Orchids, along with glowing votive candles, to accent the space. We knew the gorgeous arrangements helped to create a wonderful dinner setting for all!

Classic Romance

It’s amazing to see how our different brides and grooms express their personal style for their weddings. For the recent wedding of Debbie and Allen at the Ritz-Carlton, Battery Park, it was luxe classic romantic style all the way. Although we know that so many types of exotic blooms can express romance– nothing says it quite as well as the red Rose. FOTW created centerpieces with Roses in varying red hues with accents of twisting plum Calla Lilies and jeweled cylinders to add a touch of glitz. Our good friends at Ron Ben-Israel designed the wedding cake to match the centerpieces and the delicate lace on Debbie’s gorgeous gown.

We wish the beautiful couple many years of love and happiness!

This past Saturday evening we were very excited to design the decor for the wedding of lovely couple, Lyubov and Edward. The pair were married at the beautiful Grace Church, a 150-plus year old church in downtown Manhattan.

After the wedding bells rang, the couple headed to the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park with their friends and family for an elegant reception.  The gorgeous spring weather was the perfect backdrop for cocktails overlooking the harbor. Lauren Romao and the creative FOTW team designed chic cocktail arrangements of white tulips twisting in cylinders. For the dinner and dancing portion of the evening, FOTW designed a contemporary display of mixed purple hydrangea, twisting cream calla lilies and classic ivory roses. Varying height cylinders accented by floating lavender candles helped set the romantic mood.

Last Saturday evening, as April showers fell, Flowers of the World set the romantic mood for a beautiful wedding at the luxurious Trump Soho Hotel’s Sohi event space.  Lorinda and Philip tied the knot under a Chuppah made of delicate ivory chiffon with cascading orchids and walked down an aisle made of rose petals. The reception decor was elegant and sophisticated, consisting of cream flowers with lavender accents including Vendella and Sterling roses with stunning purple and white Picasso Calla Lilies.

Cheers to Lorinda and Philip for a lifetime of love and happiness!
