Check out Flowers of the World’s owner, Peter Grontas, on LX New York Live earlier this week discussing spring flowers with the beautiful Sara Gore. Viewers learned how to select the perfect blooms, prepare them and create a truly unique and long-lasting arrangement. If you missed out, enjoy the link below.

Flowers of the World was incredibly honored when the National September 11 Memorial & Museum asked us to make a very special wreath for President Obama to place at the foot of the Survivor Tree at the World Trade Center site today.
Our designers used vibrant blue hydrangea and hyacinths along with elegant white hydrangea and red roses to create the symbol of patriotism and peace. Flowers of the World’s original downtown location was at 4 World Trade Center so Peter, our owner, and the longtime FOTW staff are deeply connected to the loss on that day, ten years ago.
After placing the wreath, the President bowed his head in silence and prayer in memory of the thousands killed on September 11, 2001.
Late last week, we were thrilled to meet Cindy Bravo-Sanchez, our Time for Love giveaway winner, at the Tourneau Time Machine Store in NYC. Peter Grontas was so happy to present Cindy with her new chic white Rado ceramic watch and a gorgeous bouquet designed just for her, by our talented design team. We hope Cindy loves her watch and we look forward to seeing everyone at both of our locations for more exciting promotions in the future.
Today was a very special day at Flowers of the World because we picked the winner of our Time for Love 2011- Rado watch giveaway.
…And the very lucky winner is Cindy Bravo-Sanchez. We had seventy-five entrants from both design studios and Peter Grontas, our founder and CEO, randomly selected Cindy as the winner. She has chosen the Rado ceramic white ladies’ watch with luxurious diamond face. Stay tuned for more pics from the Tourneau Time Machine store later this week, when Cindy redeems her beautiful and timeless gift…. Thank you all for entering and we look forward to seeing you again very soon!
After a week of speculating on Chelsea Clinton’s wedding — Flowers of the World showed off floral predictions for The Insider, Access Hollywood, The Knot, LX New York and Fox & Friends – we finally watched the first daughter walk down the aisle this weekend at the scenic Astor Court estate in Rhinebeck, N.Y. As many expected, the bride carried a bouquet of all whites: a lush, monochromatic arrangement of white gardenias and white roses.
Even though the Chelsea wedding hysteria has ended, at Flowers of the World, we’re always thinking about the next great gorgeous affair. Check out FOTW’s co-owner Peter Grontas on NBC’s LX New York last week, describing the perfect floral decor for any elegant event!
