Last week Flowers of the World was proud to join forces for a great cause, with the Children’s Cancer Blood Foundation, for their annual “Breakthrough Ball” benefit gala. For the event, which took place at The Plaza, FOTW created a gorgeous seasonal setup of antique hydrangea, bright Protea, burnt orange Roses and Orchids, and mango Calla Lilies, mixed with swirling Lily grass and glowing raspberry votive candles. The display lit up the room for an unforgettable evening!

This week Flowers of the World was happy to team up again with Briggs, Inc., for a corporate dinner in the chic space that is Tribeca Rooftop. We created a setting that combined an elegant design of Black Magic Roses, black Calla Lilies, and burgundy Cymbidium Orchids, along with glowing votive candles, to accent the space. We knew the gorgeous arrangements helped to create a wonderful dinner setting for all!
We are true fans of great Italian design and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to create beautiful and contemporary arrangements for Scavolini’s Soho Kitchen Gallery this past week. Scavolini teamed up with Elle Decor to celebrate the start of Archtober and the Architecture and Design Film Festival. FOTW designed architectural arrangements using varying height vases with sophisticated reclining white Amaryllis and oversized loops of grass. White candle accents warmed up the lofty gallery space.
Happy Archtober!
At Flowers of the World, we love events of all types and sizes. We recently designed the decor for intimate birthday celebration on the Noa Danielle, a luxurious new yacht inspired by 1920s design. We created a nautical feel with stunning yellow Cymbidium orchids, Succulents and ever-elegant Calla Lilies with rope accents. As the yacht sailed into the sunset on the East River, and birthday toasts were made, we knew the decor set the mood for the perfect upscale birthday bash.
We love a wedding that exudes romance with a little bit of drama. This past weekend’s wedding of Merissa and Aurelio at Espace in New York City was just that. Our Director of Special Events, Lauren Romao, created the couple’s wedding fantasy with beautiful Laurel branches and delicate white Dendrobium Orchids in tall cylinders accented by hanging white candles. Floating globes of Hydrangea hung from the ceiling as a cool blue light was cast around the contemporary space.
Congratulations Merissa and Aurelio! So glad FOTW was a part of your special evening!
