Fall Harvest

We have a lot to be thankful for here at Flowers of the World.  One of which is being surrounded by beautiful flowers each and every day! Our window design this week has a glowing orange hue, the color of a beautiful harvest. We used mini spider Amaryllis to create the upside down hanging design in our uptown and downtown locations. We hope you all had a Happy Thankgiving!

A Whirlwind of Flowers

The beautiful colors of fall are ever present here at Flowers of the World. Keeping with the theme of the crazy weather here in New York, this week we used pink and bright orange Cymbidium Orchids along with beautiful Magnolia leaves in our window design, to create a whirling effect of a hurricane.  No weather will stop us from enjoying the magnificence of the flowers here at FOTW.

Monster Mash

The haunted spirit is alive in our windows with Halloween just around the corner.  This week FOTW created a dramatic and beautiful take on the spooky holiday. With a wonderful display of gorgeous Amaryllis, one of the most stunning flowers in season, along with our draped mummies, folks can’t help but steal a peak when walking by.

Happy Halloween!

Fall at FOTW

Fall is not only in the air but it’s in our windows! Gorgeous Manzanita branches with yellow and orange Cymbidium Orchids take us to brisk fall days and cool crisp nights. Orchids float in the air as the leaves fall from the trees and playfully dance in the wind.

Happy Autumn from FOTW!

Fabulous Fall Wedding

Fall may be the most beautiful time to get married in New York City, and Elyssa and Lucian’s wedding last month at the Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park was one of the most gorgeous autumn affairs we’ve ever seen. The bride carried a dramatic bouquet of mango and aubergine calla lilies, and we dressed the tables in shades of tangerine and plum, with Mariana roses, purple hydrangea and dahlias and a festive mix of harvest fruit. Thanks for letting Flowers of the World be a part of your magical day!
