Last week Flowers of the World was proud to join forces for a great cause, with the Children’s Cancer Blood Foundation, for their annual “Breakthrough Ball” benefit gala. For the event, which took place at The Plaza, FOTW created a gorgeous seasonal setup of antique hydrangea, bright Protea, burnt orange Roses and Orchids, and mango Calla Lilies, mixed with swirling Lily grass and glowing raspberry votive candles. The display lit up the room for an unforgettable evening!

This week Flowers of the World was happy to team up again with Briggs, Inc., for a corporate dinner in the chic space that is Tribeca Rooftop. We created a setting that combined an elegant design of Black Magic Roses, black Calla Lilies, and burgundy Cymbidium Orchids, along with glowing votive candles, to accent the space. We knew the gorgeous arrangements helped to create a wonderful dinner setting for all!

A Craving for Fall

As August comes to a close and September is near, we are dreaming of rich deep fall colors and textures. This week’s event for MaxAdvantage in the Tiffany Lobby at the Hudson Theater brought us a little closer. FOTW set the mood with chocolate brocade linens and matching chocolate Cymbidium orchids in rectangle and square vases with looping Dogwood. Dark wood Chiavari chairs with soft blue cushions completed the look. The mix of FOTW’s signature modern style in the more traditional room truly brought a refreshing twist!

We were so excited to have been a part of the 15th anniversary celebration for the  NY Celebrity Assistants, New York’s premiere professional association of personal celebrity assistants.  Flowers of the World designed the event this past weekend at the Beacon Restaurant using sophisticated peach Amaryllis and elegant coral swirl overlays with matching coral lamour linens to set the mood.  Candles created a cozy atmosphere for guests to network and mingle, while they enjoyed signature cocktails such as the “Assistant’s Elixir.”

Flowers of the World was proud to design the floral decor for the Young Professionals Committee of Susan G. Komen’s third annual “Painting Wall Street Pink” cocktail reception at Cipriani Wall Street on Thursday evening. Our designers used elegant pink hued flowers, such as hydrangea, tulips and roses accented by striped Hawaiian Flag Leaves.  Chocolate linens warmed up the space which was bathed in soft pink candlelight. FOTW is always excited to be a part of events for very special causes, such as Susan G. Komen For the Cure.
