Category: Chelsea Clinton

After a week of speculating on Chelsea Clinton’s wedding — Flowers of the World showed off floral predictions for The Insider, Access Hollywood, The Knot, LX New York and Fox & Friends – we finally watched the first daughter walk down the aisle this weekend at the scenic Astor Court estate in Rhinebeck, N.Y. As many expected, the bride carried a bouquet of all whites: a lush, monochromatic arrangement of white gardenias and white roses.

Even though the Chelsea wedding hysteria has ended, at Flowers of the World, we’re always thinking about the next great gorgeous affair. Check out FOTW’s co-owner Peter Grontas on NBC’s LX New York last week, describing the perfect floral decor for any elegant event!

Fox and FOTW

Just hours before Chelsea Clinton walked down the aisle on Saturday, Flowers of the World joined The Knot editor Anja Winikka on Fox & Friends to show off our version of the first daughter’s possible floral choices. Check out some shots of our wedding arrangements ready to be filmed just outside Fox’s New York City studios, and then click on the link below to see anchor Clayton Morris throw FOTW’s bouquet!

FOTW Spot on The Knot

Flowers of the World spent the week serving as The Knot’s floral-design expert on the subject of Chelsea Clinton’s wedding — our blooms have already been featured on The Insider and Access Hollywood, and you can catch us next accompanying The Knot to Fox & Friends on Saturday! For some shots of our creations, check out The Knot’s slideshow on Chelsea’s wedding forecast, now live on their site:

Here’s what The Knot editors said about Chelsea’s flowers, based on FOTW’s suggestions:

“Given the elegant reception location, Chelsea could definitely go for a romantic blush and white color palette. If she does, the lush peony and rose arrangement (by Flowers of the World) on the left would work nicely. If instead she decides to take the look in a more modern direction, we see more of a rich purple and green color combo. Orchids and calla lily arrangements like the one on the right (also by Flowers of the World) would look amazing when clustered into groups of threes or fives.”

Tune in to The Insider tonight on CBS at 7pm to see Flowers of the World’s take on Chelsea Clinton’s wedding flowers! Watch for FOTW’s two gorgeous floral centerpieces, and coordinating bouquets, in a segment featuring The Knot’s editor-in-chief Carley Roney, as she predicts what the first daughter’s July 31 nuptials will look like. In case you can’t set your DVR, here’s a sneak peak. UPDATE: You may have caught a glimpse of our blooms while Carley talked about Chelsea’s dress, but look for a longer segment on decor later this week!
